Workout Notes 2008 Week 18
This week marked the first week of track, a humbling reminder that I am too old to be doing this shit! :-)

Thursday I drove down to SMU to meet the gang. I had 8x300. I had decided to try the first four in my new Brooks Z2 spikes. And while that went alright, after I got my flats on for sprint #5, the wheels came off. As soon as I took off I could feel that right calf twitching. I had to slow because I knew it was about to cramp up, so I put an end to workout right there at the 100 meter mark. I was sore for a couple of days, so when Saturday rolled around I did my 1200 trial in my flats.

Sunday I rode with Vic and Mike pretty easy for an hour then I headed up on the bike to Logan's last PAL soccer game. Then I rode home, via the bike path in Plano which ends right at the On The Border restaurant. Well Fran and the kids had independently decided to head to OTB for lunch. When I pulled off the bike path they were right in front of me pulling into the parking lot. Strange!
