Workout Notes 2008 Week 20
After the long weekend at the soccer field and no bike for last week, and also the 800 Meters coming up for Tuesday, I figured I had better take it easy and hop on the lifecycle for an hour at the gym on Monday. Man I hate that.

Tuesday was the first Luke's all comers meets. I ran 2:19 in the 800, second master, and that's my best 800 in four years. At the 400 I felt that sharp pain in my left calf, and the sucker was really sore by the time I warmed down.

Thankfully it did not bother me in the pool on Wednesday, and I was just fine with my intervals on Thursday. Friday, Mary had a conflict for swimming, but she gave me the assignment which I completed over at the Garland Lifetime. Saturday morning I got up at really, really early (before 0500) and did a hard 8 mile loop in an effort to get really tired for my flight to Marseilles. Sunday, after flying all night and the next morning, I managed to get another nice 60 minute effort in around Les Milles, Provence, France.
