Workout Notes 2008 Week 42
This week marked the transition from circuits (strength) to speed. For the next three weeks I will do Fartlek on Mondays and circuits on Thursdays. Then it will on to doing grass interval work.

Wednesday, I tried to get my run in before the front came through. It started lightly raining when I started. By the time I finished it was POURING down! Its been a long time since I had a long hard run in the rain like that. Lots of fun. Although the people at the health club were appalled when my dripping wet butt returned! Why would I not run on the rat wheel like any other sane person??

On Friday, I was looking that the running column and I noticed that there was another Sprint Triathlon being held near the house on Sunday. It sounded like a good idea, so I ran really easy on Saturday and did the race on Sunday!
