Workout Notes 2009 Week 16
This was a stressful week, at work and beyond. At the office I am doing year end reviews and of course a bunch of big customer issues came up and then the VP asked to assist on a special project. At home, Fran was making me nuts with a bunch of soccer drama. On top of that, this was probably the worst week for allergies as well. And that was complicated by the fact, that on both Monday AND Thursday the same guy was mowing the soccer fields at carpenter park where I was doing my intervals. Unreal.

Tuesday, due to the work thing, I hit the pool 30 min earlier than usual. It was the first time since we moved to Legacy, that I needed to share a lane during my swim.

I was hacking and wheezing by Wednesday. There was a nice south wind for my run, of course.

Saturday Morning Terry and I headed out on the bike at ODarkThirty. It was 59 degrees and the dewpoint was 58. Talk about soupy! But not much wind! We rode up o McKinney airport and then back to Terry's house. I wanted a bit more mileage so I rode out to RBM and got there right in time to head back home with the 9:05 group ride in the pouring rain. Very Nice.

Sunday, the legs were feeling a bit dead and the wind was kicking up but I got a reasonably paced 12 miler in.

Fri Apr 17 - 500WU, 2x200 on 3:30; 4x100 on 1:50; 6x50 on 55; 300 pull; 2x200 pull on 3:30; 4x100 on 1:50; 6x50 on 55; 200 kick/fins; - 3200 Swim (164)

Saturday Apr 18 - Ride with Terry, RBM, Ave 17.4, ride time 3:23 - 60.6 miles Bike.

Sunday Apr 19 - 93 minutes, 12 miles run.

Weight: 163-166

Total for the week:
Run - 36.8 Miles
Bike - 60.6 Miles
Swim - 6400 Meters

Total for Apr:
Run - 102.3 Miles
Bike - 195.7 Miles
Swim - 12800 Meters
