Workout Notes 2010 Week 19
Given that I raced on Sunday, I figured I should not attempt speed work on Monday. Instead I did a nice easy run in the park. Tuesday was a kickfest in the pool. This workout courtesy of Mary Lessor. Wednesday I did my 8 mile loop in a surprising 62 minutes. Thursday was track workout #2. 400 Pickups. 200 at faster than 1500 pace, then a solid 3-4 second pick up for the second 200. Lap jog. Friday my legs were trashed. Ron wanted to swim in the outdoor pool so we swam yards instead of meters. Toward the end Ron actually got a cramp! Given that my legs were dead too, we all called it a day after 3000 yards. Sunday was a slow 12 miles - it felt faster - I guess my legs were still suffering from the track. And Sunday, I had hoped to get a long ride in, but it was windy and raining in the morning. I settled for going to the gym and getting on the exercise bike for an hour...Sheesh.

Saturday May 8: 1:41 easy distance (Recovery 46) 12 miles run.

Sunday May 9: LTF Garland 60 min lifecycle 22.1 miles (163)
