Tragedy in Boston

When I walked into the gym from my run Monday a week ago, I got the news about the bombing. Absolutely devastated. To the point that last week must have been in the fog.

Next years Marathon is on my birthday. I think I need to find a way to qualify.

Workout Notes 2013 Week 16

Spent Friday and Sat in Shreveport getting Marissa Enrolled in College.

Really solid week of work! Nice intervals on Mon and Thursday. Record run on Saturday in Shreveport and solid 100 mile ride where I did not get dropped on Sunday! Also weight below 156 all week - another record.

Workout Notes 2012 Week 14

Senior Prom


155 is the lightest I've weighed in many, many years. Saturday's 12 miler in 87 was also the best easy distance run I have run in an equally very long time. Hard ride on Sunday this week. Spent Monday night in Austin. Tuesday morning I helped a poor guy find his wallet and all of the stuff in it that he lost in the middle of the road. Tuesday night was delayed two hours getting back from Austin. Tough Trip.
