Workout Notes 2013 Week 25

Logan and I added step up bars to the beast

The previous hard weekend took its toll. Monday I needed an easy run and easy swim to get back into things. Tuesday I was feeling better and had some nice work on the trining bike (started slow) and a good set of intervals in the afternoon! Wednesday it was back to normal with the eight mile loop and swim with Ron and Pedro in the afternoon. Thursday intervals were solid followed by a nice swim on Friday with Ron and then solid, shorter ride sat morning and then solid OWS and ED run Sunday. Good week!

Marissa High School Graduation!

Lots of distance this week. Wednesday Night I felt like I was on the verge of overdoing it so I backed off and did the 20x30s on Thursday morning rather than some longer intervals. Really solid effort on the bike sat. But was totally drained (Dehydrated) on Sunday.

Workout Notes 2013 Week 23

Fran's new ride

Logan and I drove back from Houston on Sunday and I promptly got on a plane Monday and flew to SJC. I had a good run Tuesday morning and then a recovery run on Wednesday. Thursday I did 4x1 Mile intervals with KarlW. That was fun! Thursday I flew back to Dallas and hooked up with Ron for a Swim on Friday. Saturday morning the crew did 2500M OWS at Lake Lewisville and then we did a 14 mile run on top of that. Sunday I was supposed to ride with Ron but we got rained out. Instead I did a Ride/Run later in the day. Nice week!

May Workouts

"Troy and Roger both told me that their biggest regret was not being able to wear the burgundy and gold!!"

Big May! Did my first 50 mile Triathlon and had the biggest bike and run months this year. 53 miles running the third week of may was also the best since 1996.

Workout Notes 2013 Week 22

In Houston for the Texas Shootout Soccer Tournament

Monday was Memorial day. I headed up to Craig Ranch and joined a group there and rode north of McKinney and back home. Nice loop. That left me Tuesday and Thursday for circuit workouts - which I managed to do in the Morning at Breckinridge. Wednesday was a brutal swim with Batata and then in the afternoon I knocked out ten miles easy distance. Friday I swam with Ron and then managed a quick bike before taking Logan to Houston for her soccer tournament. Saturday I tried to run long in Houston but I was too tired and it was brutally humid (and windy). Weighed in at 149 on Thursday - Lowest that I can remember.
