SuperBlue99 - 5 Everton - 0
Logan and Reagan played this game Saturday. We were almost late for the game, as the highway was closed due to a Diesel tanker having caught fire.

Logan played keeper for the first half, recording a 2-0 shutout. As has been a theme in the 99 games, Logan's keeper skills, particularly punting, are FAR better than any of the other teams we have faced.

Coach Dave put Logan and Katie as defender for the first 12 minutes of the second half. Dave was clearly playing for the win. Neither Logan nor Katie were going to let anything by them. Logan went back in at forward for the last four minutes and pass the ball inside to set up the final goal.

Reagan was in and out throughout the game at forward. She had blast. One play in particular sticks out in my mind where she attempted to knock an opposing player off the ball. She is so small she just bounced out of there. I like that she is not intimidated at all.

Next week we play the Cuties who have recorded 11, 12, and 13 points in their last three games. I am told this is the essentially the FC Texas team that the 98s lost to last week. It will be an interesting game for sure!
