April Workouts
April started out with a very sore Chris from the Allen Triathlon. Both of my calves cramped badly at the start of the run and for all of April, and now May as well, I have been struggling with that right calf. From the start of April, I have lost a couple of pounds, and that is a always a good thing. Aside from calf, April was a pretty solid month of training. I did not miss a day in April, even with travel and a race! And certainly the McKinney Triathlon at the end of April was a nice finish and transition to Track Season.

Relative to March, April was ahead slightly on the Bike. Relative to last year, this month was better across the board and particularly on the swim.

First Week of April
Run - 24.1 Miles
Bike - 57.4 Miles
Swim - 6000 Meters

Second Week of April
Run - 24.8 Miles
Bike - 46.8 Miles
Swim - 6000 Meters

Third Week of April
Run - 25.5 Miles
Bike - 137.9 Miles
Swim - 6000 Meters

Fourth Week of April
Run - 27.4 Miles
Bike - 60.8 Miles
Swim - 6730 Meters

Last Week of April
Run - 13.4 Miles
Bike - 0 Miles
Swim - 3000 Meters

Total for April:
Run - 115.2 Miles
Bike - 302.9 Miles
Swim - 27730 Meters

Total for 2008:
Run - 471.35 Miles
Bike - 826.5 Miles
Swim-103280 Meters
