May Workouts
May was the transition to the track month. And that might have gone better, if I was not ordered to go to France right smack in the middle of all of this! Anyway, track work was a bunch tougher this month, as I was fighting a sore calf muscle. By the end of the month, I think I got that problem worked out. Compared to April, I have more run, but less bike and less swim. Some of that was the trip to France and some of that was soccer. Relative to last May I have more volume in all categories - so that is good! And it was a perfect month - I got a workout in every day.

First Week of May
Run - 10.8 Miles
Bike - 47.1 Miles
Swim - 3500 Meters

Second Week of May
Run - 37.0 Miles
Bike - 0 Miles
Swim - 6000 Meters

Third Week of May
Run - 30.3 Miles
Bike - 18.7 Miles
Swim - 6000 Meters

Fourth Week of May
Run - 39.4 Miles
Bike - 51.5 Miles
Swim - 3914 Meters

Last Week of May
Run - 20.6 Miles
Bike - 69.4 Miles
Swim - 6000 Meters

Total for May:
Run - 138.1 Miles
Bike - 186.7 Miles
Swim - 25414 Meters

Total for 2008:
Run - 609.45 Miles
Bike - 1013.2 Miles
Swim - 128694 Meters
