Workout Notes 2013 Week 21

The Killer TFC 98 Girls - Shawnee Trail Tournament Champions with 13 goals for and 0 goals against!
After a week of recovery from the X50 and then a week of crazy running in Kiev, this week it was back to business. Nice intervals on Monday and Thursday. Wednesdays 8 miler started slow and frankly I was ready to cut it short. But I finally got in a groove and finished it. Saturday me and Batata hammered out a solid 16 miler at almost 7 min mile pace. And then I had a solid, but wet ride on Sunday! Good swims on M,W,F!

Workout Notes 2013 Week 20

Kiev Opera House
What a week. Sunday night flew from DFW to Kiev except I missed the connection in IAD. Spent 24 hours at Dulles, but had a nice run on Monday Morning there. Then two really nice 10 milers in Kiev. I did not sleep on Thursday night and Managed to get in 5 miles at 1am for my Friday run. Somehow I had the energy after all of that for 72 on the bike on Sat and another 14 miles running sunday. That was over 50 miles running for the week. Probably been 15 years since I did that! (Update - Last week of March 1996 I logged 54+ miles a few weeks before running the 100th Boston Marathon.)
